So somehow between having a "real" job after finishing university and getting annoyed at using blogger...I have come back to take another stab at this...

my weekend in photos

Walking back to the car from the CNE grounds Friday night. Night time plus no flash makes for fun looking pictures.

Meet Bacon and Kalbi, my two new friends from the CNE courtesy of my boyfriend. :)

This is Vanilla, the resident bunny at my friend's place. Turns out Vanilla is a boy. This is the only picture I can show from Saturday's bbq due to the massive consumption of alcohol.

Met up with some girl friends on Sunday. Presents from Nora's trip to Japan! Candy earrings and a kaleidescope cell phone charm.

I'm back!
Sorry for the unannounced hiatus, but there's just something about August that just makes you want to frolic the days away. Perhaps I am just trying to hold on to the end of summer. Aside from being a busy bee at work I've been out adventuring with my boyfriend every weekend. Since my last post we survived camping together for the first time, explored the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, went to our first non-family related wedding together, and managed to do day trips to Niagara/Buffalo JUST to go shopping...Not once, but TWICE. Pictures of those adventures and the stuff I bought later on.

Another 5 pairs of earrings to add to my already vast collection of them. The two closest to the right and the pair in the middle I bought off of Etsy from the same seller. The top left pair are actually pansy petals that have been dried and laminated, neat eh? I got them on a random Sunday trip to Kensington with my cousin. The big dangly white pair I picked up at Forever21 in Buffalo. Despite the fact that there are actually Forever21 and H&M stores around Toronto, I prefer buying from the stateside stores as the price points (on average) seem to be $5 - $10 higher in Canada! Plus the exchange rate is almost 1 to 1, and there is usually less tax (damn you Ontario and your 13%!!).
I think I'm going to revamp my blog soon...

saturday shenanigans
I am taking a half day off from work tomorrow to go camping with my boyfriend!
So I will leave you with photos form my last weekend's adventures with my boyfriend :)
Summerlicious lunch at Oliver & Bonacini Cafe.Grill

Food! Glorious food! :9

Yes. That is me. Eating both our desserts!
What I wore -
Floral Sundress: Forever21
Gold Gladiator Sandals: Aldo
Scarf used as a Shawl (a/c makes me feel too cold indoors): H&M
Bag: Gucci

Oh and this is me in my ride. My face looks horrible in this picture. My boyfriend and I turn shopping for camping stuff at Wal-Mart into silliness :D

outfit posts are back
Hooray! Here's a series of 3 days, left to right: Sunday night, Monday, and Tuesday:

Sunday Night -
Top: Club Monaco
Bandeau (underneath): Talula
Necklace: Club Monaco
Pants: Big7
Shoes: Aldo
You can't tell from the pic, but I'm wearing a lacy bandeau that peeks from the sides and my neckline. I've had those white pants since I was 16...They used to be flares! LOL. Lucky for me my mom decided to make them skinny for me so I could get some more wear out of them. I wore this outfit for a "mini-reunion" with my high school group of friends. We went out for Japanese food! Yum!
Monday -
Cardigan: Zara
Dress: H&M
Belt: H&M
Shoes: Nautralizer
Since I've been showing a lot of clothes I bought for work lately, I thought I'd include one of my work outfits. I kinda like being this dressed up to work! Oh and you can't really see my belt...Damn camera.
Tuesday -
Tee: Banana Republic
Tank (underneath): American Eagle
Skirt: Guess?
Shoes: Liz Claiborne
This was my Canada Day outfit (happy belated Canada Day to all my fellow Canadians! and early happy 4th of July to all you Americans!). I was one of those unlucky people who got robbed of a long weekend this year. It's so odd going to work on Monday, having a day off on Tuesday, and then working again Wednesday onwards, but at least the weekend comes faster this ay. I spent my day off hanging out with my boyfriend and looking at expensive cell phones at Pacific Mall.

officially a university graduate!
Thanks for all the warm wishes form the last post! I really appreciate them! *heart*
My convocation was last Thursday morning and it was a gorgeous day outside for the reception after the ceremony.

It was really sunny outside...That giant piece of white paper is actually my degree lol. Also, we were only given the hoods and gowns, there were NO HATS!! D: What's a graduation without those square caps?! :(

The little stuffed penguin my parents bought for me, isn't he cute? :) (I'm holding him in the first pic.)

Me and my mommy, who I thought looked very stylish! Don't mind my sorta sleepy expression on my face in this picture, too sunny.
What I wore -
Dress: Urban Behavior (nothing beats a cheap dress that doesn't look cheap. heh.)
Blazer: H&M (old)
Jewelry: (necklace and bracelet) Tiffany&Co.
Wristlet: Coach
Shoes: DKNY
What my mom wore -
Sunglasses: Gucci
Dress: H&M
Jacket: H&M (it's actually mine from a few years ago)
Bag: Calvin Klein
Shoes: Franco Sarto

Here's a clearer shot of my dress. And yes, I do find amusement in getting my photo taken while I make weird faces. Haha.
